Clayton The Frog

Cousin Chase let Clayton borrow his frog costume for Halloween. It was perfect. He looked adorable! The cutest little frog we have ever seen.
Clayton enjoyed spending his first Halloween with his cousins. (Ava, Toby, Calvin, Ty, and Patrick)

Appleworks

Brian had the opportunity last month to take a fishing trip with his dad. While he was away, Clayton and I stayed with Pawpaw and Nana. They were excited to take Clayton to Appleworks for some Fall Fun.

He loved the big haystack. I'm sure next year he will be jumping off of it just like the other kids.

We had a great time. They had so many things for the kids to enjoy. We can't wait to go back next year!

Indianapolis Zoo and White River Gardens

Clayton's six month birthday just happened to land on one of those warm October afternoons we were blessed to have. So we decided to take advantage of the beautiful day and head to the Zoo and White River Gardens.

Month Five Wrap Up.

Here are a few things that happened while Clayton was five months old(that was so last month). I hope you enjoy.

Clayton got to enjoy his new High Chair

Clayton was dedicated at our church. We had quite the crew with us.

Clayton went to his first(of many to come) high school football games. We enjoyed watching the Franklin Central Flashes win.

We enjoyed many walks around the neighborhood. Clayton is pretty serious about his walks.

Using a sippy cup for the first time. He doesn't quite have it down yet, but I am sure he will get it soon.

We enjoyed a fish fry with Great Grandma and Great Grandpa Torbet.

Oh look who else was at the fish fry, it was Great Gandma and Great Grandpa Cummings. Others in attendance at the fish fry not pictured were Grandpa Roger and Grandma Judy

Such A little Boy....Such A BIG Personality

Clayton turned five months old today. We are so thankful that God blessed us with a baby that is so easygoing, happy, fun, energetic, and amazingly sweet. He has developed such a personality, and is definitely a true boy. He enjoys anything rough and a little bit scary. He loves to play and tease. He wants so badly to touch and hold everything he sees (ultimately to put it into his mouth), rolls over both ways, likes sleeping on his tummy, sings with me as I rock him to sleep, now has a tooth and another coming in, loves playing with daddy when he gets home from work, has two favorite songs ("This Old Man" and "If You're Happy and You Know It"), and he has started to somewhat scoot across the floor. So much has happened in the past two months....so I hope you enjoy the pictures.

We enjoyed a week with Brian's side of the family. Clayton enjoyed watching Chase and Ava play, and would keep an eye on Cousin Ainsley.

We are so thankful for our little boy. He is so incredibly happy and brings our lives so much laughter and joy.

3 Months Old- Random Pictures

Another month has passed and our little baby boy is getting so big! He melts our hearts with every smile, giggle, and laugh. I used to have a problem with making a fool of myself, but motherhood has revealed a new side of me I never knew was there. We'll do anything to get a laugh out of him...if only you could be a fly on the wall. Each day holds new discoveries and milestones. He continues to be such a sweet baby, always getting compliments anywhere we go.

Just like my dad.
My handsome boys.
I got you moose!

Dale Hallow Lake Vacation

We spent a relaxing week at Dale Hallow Lake for our first family vacation. I have spent a week on the lake every year with my family since I was Clayton's age, so it was fun to be in a place that is full of wonderful memories. We had a great week of fishing, swimming, boating, eating, relaxing, playing, and just enjoying one another. Brian was able to be away from work for the week, and I did not have the responsibilities of cooking and cleaning and was able to focus my time on Brian, Clayton, and the family.

Clayton loved riding in the boat. He usually fell asleep, but when he was awake- he was all smiles.
Cooling off on a hot day in the boat.
What a sweet little guy. He was so tired from all the excitement.
