Easter Weekend

Clayton's first Easter was definitely a busy one. Our Easter weekend began with Clayton's 1st birthday party on Saturday. Then we traveled to PawPaw and Nana's to spend Easter down there. Aunt Roxanne was in town from Denver so we were able to spend the weekend with her as well.

Clayton awoke to some really neat things in his Easter basket.
Aunt Roxanne enjoyed getting to feed Clayton.

Clayton learned to hunt Easter eggs at Great Grandma Poynter's house. He enjoyed the hunt just because he could run around outside.

He caught on quickly to filling his basket. It was rather rewarding as he ended up with $28 to put into his penny bank.

The Big ONE

Could it possibly be that this sweet tiny baby.....has grown so very quickly into this sweet little boy?

Clayton turned the big ONE April 10th and we had his birthday celebration Easter Weekend. We had such a great time celebrating with family and close friends.

Thanks Aunt Roxanne for coming all the way from Denver to celebrate Clayton's first birthday!

Clayton was so excited that Cousin Amanda was able to come to his party!

He was so excited to be opening his gifts. Everyone was so generous.

Clayton always loves spending time with his Cousin Chase (I think Uncle Chad is tickeling him!).

Happy 1st Birthday, Clayton. We are so happy that God planned for you to be our son. You have such a great personality and so much determination. You are an amazing little guy and we have loved every single moment of this first year of your life! We love you with all of our hearts. Happy Birthday!

Just Before Bed

Now that Clayton is no longer walking...he is RUNNING- Brian and I don't seem to have the time to take as many pictures as we did before. One night my parents were over and we were taking pictures of Clayton eating his oatmeal before bed. They ended up being a few of our favorites so we wanted to share them with you. And yes, he IS just as sweet as he looks.

We'll be posting more pictures soon of Clayton's 1st birthday, Easter, and some other fun adventures. We are loving the warmer weather and the possibilites it brings.
