I have them wrapped!

It didn't take him long, Clayton found some people that think he is pretty special. Mom and Dad think that the grandparents are very special too and appreciate all that they have done for them over the past couple of weeks. Clayton loves his grandparents.

Clayton is Grandpa and Grandma Tow's first grandchild and they think he is grand. I don't think you could find more excited grandparents.

Grandpa Tow loves holding Clayton, and envisioning him rounding the bases just like Grandpa use to.

"Nana" could hold Clayton all day, that feeding time gets in the way though.

Grandpa Roger and Grandma Judy enjoyed meeting their third grandchild, and patiently await their fourth(Sara's) that is due in June.

Grandpa Roger, is already looking forward to getting Clayton a fishing pole and wetting a line.

Clayton, found a comfy spot to rest those weary eyes. Grandma Judy loved the time spent with Clayton on Tuesday and Wednesday.

We're Home!

We put Clayton in his first outfit yesterday before we went home. The outfit was a little big but he made it look good.

Yesterday we got home a little after noon. Clayton slept all the way home. Raendra rode in the back to watch her little buddy, and I... adjusted my mirrors, put my hands at 10 and 2, and utilized my turn signals better than they were intended to be used. It was the best drive I have ever experienced, not a care in the world.

Clayton in his car seat.
Tre' did real well with the introductions. I sat on the floor with Clayton while she took a smell (mmm baby, I don't know that there is a better smell). Tre' seemed to have very little interest...and then Clayton squeaked. Up went the ears and the interest. Tre' just wants attention so we are making it a priority too.
I will have to say that we couldn't have asked for a better experience than what we have had. Clayton is so content (I may eat my words some day),he is a great eater, and doesn't fuss, even when we change him. We are truly blessed. A couple more pictures for the road, enjoy. All that beautiful hair.

So peaceful.

Quality time with Mom.

After a full tummy, Clayton likes to cuddle and snooze. So does Mom.

We are so happy to be a family.

Clayton Elijah Cummings

WELCOME!

Clayton Elijah Cummings, Born April 10th. He weighed in at 8lbs 7oz and 20in Long. Both Raendra and Clayton are doing well. Clayton scored a 9.9 on his APGAR. The doctors said he should ace his first test with a head that measured in at 16 inches. What a Miracle. Thank you all for your continued prayer. We love you all. Brian and Raendra.

Here are a few more pictures to hold you over until introductions.

Today is the Day

We are sitting in the hospital right now. Excited? Extremely. Raendra, has been set up with the I.V., and the heart monitor. We are sitting here listening to his heart beat, waiting for 10 o'clock. They will do an ultra-sound prior to surgery to see if his head is down, but Raendra has not felt him turn so it is not likely that he has turned. I will post some pictures as soon as we get some. We thank you for your support and prayers.
