Just Before Bed

Now that Clayton is no longer walking...he is RUNNING- Brian and I don't seem to have the time to take as many pictures as we did before. One night my parents were over and we were taking pictures of Clayton eating his oatmeal before bed. They ended up being a few of our favorites so we wanted to share them with you. And yes, he IS just as sweet as he looks.

We'll be posting more pictures soon of Clayton's 1st birthday, Easter, and some other fun adventures. We are loving the warmer weather and the possibilites it brings.

Walking

Clayton decided he would take a few steps on his own before ten months. It has been a week since that was decided and it is amazing how quickly he has gained balance and ability. The first day he just decided he would walk away from his toys and try to reach the couch or an out stretched hand. This week it is, what can I stand up to and how far can I go.

This past weekend we made a trip up to Rochester, IN to visit Evan and Emily Gottschalk (Brian's Cousin). They had a great weekend planned for us and we enjoyed our time with them so much. We were treated to great food, and fun games and suprised with special guests. Clayton warmed up to everyone within 15 minutes of arrival. Who wouldn't. On Friday he was taking a few steps whenever possible and by Sunday he was walking across the room.

Clayton had such a great time and was so upset that we were no longer at the Gottschalks that on Sunday night he woke up around midnight sick to his stomach. He is past the vomitting and now on to the other end of it. We hope it will stop soon. Even though he is ill he still gives us plenty of smiles and continues to work on his walking. Enjoy the video. We will post more as we get them.

One Month Late....Clayton's First Christmas

As cute as it is, we figured that many of you were tired of looking at Clayton the Frog and would perhaps like to see something a little more recent. It's definitely getting more difficult to keep up with things...like our blog for instance....we have a little guy who is on the move....fast....and into everything! He is ALL BOY. Enjoy these pictures where he doesn't have scrapes and bruises. They are definitely harder to come by these days.

Clayton LOVES pulling up to things and standing on his own. Especially when there is a huge stack of presents!!

This is all the paper they would let me keep after unwrapping this big present from Grandpa Roger and Grandma Judy.

Most of his Christmas presents. Thank you everyone.
Unwrapping presents at Pawpaw and Nana's house is a pretty serious job.

Fun with Pawpaw.

NO WAY! More presents?!?!
